All adults in the country will be given Covid-19 Vaccine Booster Dose. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clarified on Friday. Earlier, the US administration had said that booster doses would be given to those who are weak in front of the corona, ie the elderly and those with co-morbidities. However, in the wake of the growing coronavirus infection over the past two weeks, the United States (USA) has decided to give extra protection to all adults without risk.
But before the federal government’s decision, all adults in at least 10 U.S. states were being given booster doses. However, the announcement by the US Food and Drug Administration on who will get the booster dose, which company will take the dose – has cleared up the confusion.
The FDA says anyone 18 years of age or older can take a booster dose from any company six months after their last dose. No matter which company they first vaccinate with, it doesn’t matter if the booster dose is the same. However, the CDC has yet to give its consent. However, after the FDA clearance, the CDC does not appear to be in a position to do so.
In the United States, Pfizer and Moderna have been given two doses of the corona vaccine, as well as a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson corona vaccine. All three of these COBID-19 vaccines provide strong protection against corona. Those who receive the vaccine do not have coronary heart disease but are more likely to be hospitalized or to die or become seriously ill.
However, protection against infection seems to be declining over time. In the last two weeks, however, the number of new Covid-19 cases in the United States has been steadily rising. Especially in the states where winter has come, people are closing their doors and windows and entering their homes, the number is increasing in those provinces.
This week in Britain, the booster dose for middle-aged and older people has been shown to provide the same protection as the full dose of a vaccine. In Israel, massive booster doses are already being given to prevent another wave of epidemics. More than 19.5 billion people in the United States have received the full dose of the vaccine. More than 30 million people have already received booster doses.
However, epidemiologists believe that once all attention is paid to booster doses, the vaccination of 70 million eligible Americans who have not yet received the full dose of the vaccine could be hampered. Also, while a large portion of the population in poorer countries has not yet received any vaccination, there is concern about giving booster doses at this huge rate in rich countries. The question is whether the epidemic (Coronavirus pandemic) can be controlled in this way, or whether it will continue to do so year after year.
